New online COVID-19 rehabilitation service on the NHS
On July 5, 2020, NHS England launched a new digital service. The new 'Your COVID Recovery' service forms part of NHS efforts to improve access to COVID-19 rehabilitation treatments for those who survived the virus but who have respiratory problems, mental health issues, or other complications.

As part of the service, nurses and physiotherapists will be able to meet the needs of patients either online or over the phone.

The service's first phase is introduced in late July, including the latest advice on recovery from the virus that will be accessible to everyone and continually updated and added to.

The second phase, in which people who need it can access personalized support packages, is being developed by Leicester-based experts and will be made available later this summer.

Rehabilitation professionals will be able to access data from their patients to allow remote care and monitoring, making sure that anybody who may require more face-to-face tests or treatment will get it.
